FIRST RESPONDER MEMBERS:
-All Active and Retired First Responders (such as members of law enforcement, fire-fighter community, EMTs, military service members, volunteer firefighters, as well as Red Cross active volunteers with current credentials, etc.) are welcome to join I.E.M.R.A. and enjoy membership benefits including access to the members-only sections of the website, access to healthcare from members listed in the Find a Doctor section of the website, for the term of one calendar year from the date of membership approval.
-First Responder Members will receive I.E.M.R.A. membership kit and deals on I.E.M.R.A. merchandise.
-Applicants must complete the application process, submit 2 current passport sized photos, as well as a current Curriculum Vitae, applicable fees, and complete the designated courses in the Education section.
-First Responder Members who are not obligated to report elsewhere during critical incidents are encouraged to report to I.E.M.R.A. designated staging areas.
-First Responder Active Team family members will be eligibe to receive preparedness training from I.E.M.R.A. family courses and instructors.
WHAT MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE:
FIRST RESPONDER MEMBERSHIP KIT:
After completing the application process and receiving membership approval, members will receive a complimentary I.E.M.R.A. photo ID card and hologram shield credential in a leather ID wallet. All members will also receive a membership certificate for display, access to the members only sections of the I.E.M.R.A. website and online store, a listing in the applicable sections of the Find A Doctor section of the website, decal, and literature outlining membership benefits and responsibilities.
All identification is the sole property of I.E.M.R.A. and must be displayed responsibly upon the request of any local or government official, and during critical incident response. NEVER try to represent yourself as a member of law enforcement - you are not. I.E.M.R.A. is a private organization unaffiliated with any governmental or law enforcement agency. Any inappropriate or illegal activities engaged in by I.E.M.R.A. members will result in revocation of all I.E.M.R.A. property and membership status, and possible prosecution. All individuals are subject to all enforced local laws. If your credentials are lost or stolen, a police report must be filed immediately and a copy of said report sent to I.E.M.R.A. No renewal credentials will be distributed without prior return of expired credentials.
