VETERAN MEMBERS: FREE OF CHARGE
-All applicants must provide proof of current enrollment in a Veterans' organization (VFW, American Legion, etc.), and must be in good standing of the order.
-Applicants must mail or email I.E.M.R.A. a copy of their current driver's license or other form of photo identification.
-Veteran members will enjoy limited membership for the term of one calendar year from the date of membership approval.
-Veteran members, in good standing of their order, will receive a Veteran's I.E.M.R.A. ID card, be able to access members-only sections of the website.
-Veterans' families will be granted access to the Family Training Courses.
-Veteran members are responsible for learning preparedness from I.E.M.R.A. trainers and courses, and for assisting their families and/or communities during critical incidents.
-Veterans are defined as those men and women who served our nation in the armed forces during wartime. And whose bravery and heroism is appreciated and celebrated by IEMRA and its members.

WHAT MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE:
VETERANS' MEMBERSHIP KIT:
All veteran members are encouraged, but not required, to complete the entrance exam. Veterans must forward to I.E.M.R.A. their post information as well as copies of their driver's license and current veterans' organization card. Veterans will receive an I.E.M.R.A. identification card (non-photo ID), membership certificate for display, access to applicable members only sections of the I.E.M.R.A. website, access to the Find A Doctor section of the website, access to local I.E.M.R.A. member healthcare professionals, and access to the Veterans' I.E.M.R.A. online store.
All identification is the sole property of I.E.M.R.A. and must be displayed responsibly upon the request of any local or government official, and during critical incident response. NEVER try to represent yourself as a member of law enforcement - you are not. I.E.M.R.A. is a private organization unaffiliated with any governmental or law enforcement agency. Any inappropriate or illegal activities engaged in by I.E.M.R.A. members will result in revocation of all I.E.M.R.A. property and membership status, and possible prosecution. All individuals are subject to all enforced local laws. If your credentials are lost or stolen, a police report must be filed immediately and a copy of said report sent to I.E.M.R.A. No renewal credentials will be distributed without prior return of expired credentials.
